Ancestry Library Edition
    Ancestry Library Edition is a new genealogy research tool that provides library patrons instant access to a wide range of resources for genealogical and historical research. Ancestry Library Edition includes records from the U. S. Census; military records; court, land and probate records; vital and church records; directories; petitions for naturalization; passenger lists and more!

    This database is only available from Library computers.

    ChiltonLibrary provides quick online access to repair, maintenance and service information on seven decades of the broadest range of vehicles available, including cars, trucks, vans and SUVs. Unlike the printed editions, the content is updated on a monthly basis, ensuring the most advanced and up-to-date information available.

Consumer Reports
    ConsumerReports.org® enables consumers to make better purchasing decisions on the products they are shopping for. Whether a user is looking to find the best deal on an LCD TV, or researching the top-recommended used vehicles, ConsumerReports.org provides ratings and reviews, recommendations and buying advice for thousands of products and services.

CultureGrams
    Created by indigenous people and long-time residents of countries around the world, this concise reference tool gives an insider’s perspective of many cultures. It contains articles, maps, photographs, biographies and recipes.

eLibrary
    This database offers more than 1,500 full-text sources, with a fun and easy-to-use user interface. Included are magazines, newspapers, books, television/radio transcripts, maps, pictures, and audio/video clips. e-Library is funded jointly by the Washington State Library, federal LSTA funds and NOLS.

    Foundation Directory Online Platinum is a database of the entire universe of over 108,000 foundations, corporate giving programs, and grantmaking public charities in the U.S. and over 3 million recently awarded grants. Funded through a generous grant from United Way of Clallam County.

Local Newspapers Index
    The Port Angeles newspaper is currently being indexed by a team of volunteers. Indexing of local events has been completed from 1993 to Feb 29, 2008. The index covers articles and obituaries relevant to Clallam County but does not include or index the full text of the articles. The full articles of the Port Angeles papers can be retrieved from microfilm from the Port Angeles branch

    This resource brings together free authoritative information from National Library of Medicine, the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and other government agencies and health-related organizations. It also includes extensive information about drugs, an illustrated medical encyclopedia, interactive patient tutorials, and latest health news.

Microsoft Imagine Academy
    The Microsoft IT Academy provides over 400 Microsoft online courses and learning resources free of charge to the residents of Washington State.

NoveList
    Get help finding authors and titles with enhanced subject access to nearly 100,000 titles. This database also includes thousands of full-text book reviews and hundreds of theme-oriented book lists.

    NoveList K-8, a fiction database, is designed with a bright, appealing layout, designed especially for elementary and middle schools. The “Working with Kids” section of the Browse panel on the homepage provides a single location to access all of the curricular materials such as our Grab and Go Book Lists, BookTalks, Picture Book Extenders and more.

    Use this Index to find articles on a wide range of subjects from magazines, newspapers and journals, including many articles in full text. ProQuest is funded jointly by the Washington State Library, federal LSTA funds and NOLS.
